Course overview
Business Associates must take several steps to comply with the HIPAA privacy and security rules in connection with the group health plans of their employer-clients. One of these steps is to train the employees who may have access to the protected health information (PHI) of plan participants. For this purpose, PHI may include enrollment information.

We anticipate that you will want each employee who may have access to protected health information in connection with your clients’ health plans to undergo the training. Typically, these would include employees working in your benefits, finance, risk management and IT areas.
